An OBC priest is boycotted by four Brahmin priests in Kerala over caste question. Brahmins raised the concern that God will not accept the garlands prepared by an OBC priest! This is the same state where Sree Narayana Guru, an OBC spiritual leader, consecrated an idol in 1888 challenging Brahmin orthodoxy. A Dalit leader, Ayyankali, gave protection to Guru from the physical violence of casteist Brahmins. Paradoxically, OBCs still remain Brahmanical and casteist to combat their inferiority!

🚨This is not a scene from a film, but a true incident from the Kusheshwarsthan police station area of Darbhanga district. In Harinagar village, a Dalit mason, Kailash Paswan, carried out house construction work in the year 2015, but even after 10 years, he has not received his wages. On Friday, when Kailash Paswan demanded his pending wages, a dispute broke out. Saturday morning, Hemant Jha, along with around 100 to 150 people, reached Kailash Paswan’s house and attacked him. In this assault, women, elderly people, and children were also not spared. A 14-year-old girl, Komal Kumari, was seriously injured and her back was broken. The victim alleges that the police initially refused to accept the complaint. Later, an FIR was registered against more than 100 people under the SC–ST Act. Now the question is: Is demanding one’s rightful wages a crime?
