STATIC SHOCK (2000–2004) had one of the best superhero shows of the 2000s. The series also stood out for tackling real-world issues that most animated shows of the era avoided, which is a big part of why it still resonates today.

The final scene of SPIDER-MAN: THE NEW ANIMATED SERIES (2003) ends on a such dark note, leaving several storylines unresolved after the show was canceled following just one season. A reminder of how abruptly one of most underrated series came to an end.

The fact that the Boondocks has aged like fine wine... is not beautiful or good... It's freakin' tragic, I mean Goddammit, it barely feels like a day has passed.

As much as I'm a Xeno fan, these games were disappointing. The combat wasn't as fun as Xenogears, Episode 2 was the worst of the trilogy, and spent more time watching cut scenes than playing the game itself. Kosmos became Iconic, similar to how Morrigan is more iconic than the Dark Stalker series in which she derived from. I would love for them to remaster or remake them though. Maybe iron some things out too.

A Nikke OST every day for a year, day 23. “THE REDHOOD” "The glass slipper is no more" "Part's Over" *BANG* *BANG* *BANG* Listen, there are a lot of reasons why Red Hood is legendary, the legacy she has left behind, her unmatched power, her unlimited determination... but most of all, what makes her legendary to me is in the context of this scene: Pinning Cinderella to a wall with her very big anti-material-looking rifle with glass slippers in between the rifle and Cinderella, then proceeding to blow past glass slippers in 2 shots, then point-blank hitting Cinderella in the chest. There is not another Nikke in that world who 1. is allowed to defy gun physics as much as Red Hood and 2. could get away with doing that to Cinderella. absolutely crazy work from her. As normal, Cosmograph directed and produced this song, (His channel also has the far better music video for this song lmao). NieN is credited with being the Composer/Arranger, but I somewhat wonder if he was behind the guitar on this track... the credits are not very specific on this one. The singer/vocals were done by Djerv (who is a metal/rock band!)
