We have a high-growth, low-inflation economy right now. It doesn’t matter what the “experts” tell you. The data is overwhelming. GDP is BOOMING. Inflation is crashing.

The reason that Greenland is so controversial is that it ultimately pits globalists against nationalists. You either believe America should do what is in the best interest of America or you believe America should sacrifice its economy, national defense, and population at times for the greater good. There is no simple answer to complex problems. But this difference of viewpoints between globalists and nationalists are going to drive debate in many policies decisions over the next few years.

I am at dinner with two Canadians and both of them are supportive of Canada becoming the 51st state. They say better jobs, stronger currency, more vacation spots, and a cooler national anthem. Makes sense to me. 🇺🇸🇨🇦

The easy thing to do right now would be to embrace the consensus view. You can claim the administration doesn't know what they are doing. You can scream about the stock market going down and fear-monger about a recession. Or you can do the hard thing — take the time to study how tariffs have worked in the past. The evidence is overwhelming that the mainstream understanding is flawed. For example, tariffs are not inflationary. They create jobs and actually drive consumer prices down. You wouldn't know that without doing the work though. Don't take the easy path. Seek the hard path. That is where the truth is.

@APompliano Canadian here. Why do people assume we would be interested? How would you react, as an American citizen - if the President of another nation would advertise annexation? Most Americans I know are Patriots, and would feel very offended. I love USA, but I also love my country.

We should merge the US and Canadian economies to create an economic superpower. Take down the border, remove tariffs, and outlaw subsidies.
