@AerithClouds I don't think Cloud is trans or anything like that, but he definitely has a soft person trapped inside of him. This was definitely a convenient way to express that a little.

It's cute how Cloud is almost in awe of Andrea in this scene, as much as he tries not to admit it he felt comforted by the words of someone saying it's okay to embrace who he is and be the person he always felt scared to show.

@Ziegler_Dev Good change. I appreciate your dedication to actual balance. When you nerf something broken and everyone's using it, you make a lot of people angry, but that doesn't mean it isn't the correct move. Please never be afraid to break up the meta.

UPDATE: WTF WSTRs We're gonna take a shot at bringing the WSTR more in line. Right now it's become a dominant option and is eclipsing a lot of the other short range options that exist in the game. SOOOOOO... as of Tuesday 4/21 (likely 8AM PT) the WSTR will no longer be able to down an enemy player who has blue shields or above with two shots. The ideal is that in a majority of cases this will force a reload in scenarios where the target has a blue shield, allowing for some more counterplay in these scenarios. What Will Change: - Change will go live Tuesday 4/21 in the morning. Likely 8AM PT. - WSTRs can still down a green shielded target with 2 direct shots at short rang - WSTRs will no longer be able to down a blue and above shielded target with 2 shots at short range. We're still keeping an eye on a variety of balance issues. Thanks for all the feedback, keep it coming and we'll keep hammering at it.

@ArmoredHips If theyre not making use of the blue beam I just swap, simple as. No amount of peel/support/burst healing is going to fix a dps doing fuck all. Not every Mercy main is a one trick and not every Mercy main refuses to swap.

Might be a hot take, I think the Double Dose major is bad. You're losing 10 healing for 2 charges of Flash Heal. Instead of healing for 84 on a crit ally with the reduction, you're healing for 70. I lowkey think Chain Boost is gonna be better in the long run.

@SoftieF2P I was saying this exact thing to my girlfriend. People hate fighting Mercy when she's just sitting around a corner boosting Ashe, but they made it more difficult for her to do anything but that.

I hope people realise this enforces pocketing because if she can’t move at all and is slow then people are just gonna hide behind walls pocketing people??

@Lynxow2 it's so annoying honestly, if you can't hit a shot at mercy or juno who is significantly slower just play an aim trainer, your lack of skill doesn't mean a character should get a major nerf to their whole kit

@vrtualangelic I'm a Pharah main and they straight up reduced my aerial speed too. Seriously, take the ult movement back, I can't dodge hitscans like that. I love having a Mercy with me but I already felt like I brought her into dangerous situations, so now she'll be more vulnerable?

I genuinely this is miserable. Yeah she got burst healing incorporated into her basekit but nerfing her mobility as a trade off is ridiculous? Especially considering she already struggled into good dive players anyways and this is just rewarding the bad dive players. Diveslop.

Blizzard can’t help themselves. One character speaks—then, the other character, who is not in same location, let alone the same dimension, answers after stepping through a portal. This is writing for the lowest common denominator.

we are a decade into blizzard forgetting the horde even exists. we are reaching levels of “the horde don’t exist” i didn’t think were possible. the midnight plot making sense hinges on us as players forgetting an entire faction exists. how did we get here lmao

i’m really enjoying the gameplay (raids, dungeons, etc) in midnight. feels the most fun the game has been in a decade. with that said, they’ve exhausted my ability to give them the benefit of the doubt as far as the lore/plot is concerned. 5 misses in a row is an indictment.

@tapisbadatgames We killed two teams early on but we spent the entire match killing rooks because it seems whenever one dies it just lets another one spawn in. And since the gun audio was increased they would always immediately sprint towards the gunfire, some of them having shotguns. It's nuts.

imagine how terrifying it was to be on the receiving end of this (we had been pvping the entire game and could not physically get into pinwheel because of it)
