Would love to see season pushed later but some conference sizes still force start in February unless they move to midweek conf games. I would move season back 1 week and see following. Buy or sell? (Obviously a lot depends on NCAA/facility being able to do it

With the PLL and WLL set to play their All-Star games at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium this summer... ...is it time to put NCAA Championship Weekend in Annapolis!? 🏆🤔
English

@LoveOfThGame @LacrosseNetwork @NavyMLax @HPUMensLax To be fair it’s not snow it’s temps and Army moved their game indoors and will be warmer at WP. Air Force might be the toughest
English

@LacrosseNetwork @NavyMLax @HPUMensLax Service academy canceling for snow. Bad planning (February lacrosse) or new era for the Navy standard (not as tough as Army or Air Force)?
English

This weekend's game between @NavyMLax and @HPUMensLax has been CANCELED 🚨
"The health and safety of our student-athletes is our top priority, and due to unsafe weather conditions, we have made the difficult decision to cancel Saturday's game," Navy head coach Joe Amplo said in a press release.
The game will not be rescheduled.

English

@LacrosseNetwork @NavyMLax @HPUMensLax Bummer. Maybe teams will stop scheduling so early. Other games moving indoors with no fans what fun is that
English

@asforfootball @BKKnightNation Or just tuck and run and maybe this thread wouldn’t happen ha. They played their hearts out. Good luck vs UCONN
English

@ArmyNavyFB @BKKnightNation The biggest difference in that last drive against UTSA came in the intermediate passing game. IMHO they need to make more use of the short to intermediate passes that they already have installed.

2025 Army Navy Game Recap | Black Knight Nation Podcast x.com/i/broadcasts/1…
English

@asforfootball @BKKnightNation Fair point on cut blocking. Just seeing it give UTSA fits I can’t help to just think why not give it a shot. I actually thought they moved it well but to my point earlier got to find a way to get playmakers like Noah the ball more no matter what you run
English

@ArmyNavyFB @BKKnightNation Totally different world with the old cut-blocking rules. Navy’s solution, to go to a pass-blocking set & then RPO either to a quick pass or QB Draw, is really clever. But I don’t know how strongly I believe Army would ever throw enough to actually make it work.
English

@asforfootball @BKKnightNation I get SA it’s tougher and really we don’t see much of the true triple anymore but when you think of it the last two times they gave a heavy dose of it ‘16 and ‘18 they moved it pretty well. Much better than they have been.
English

@ArmyNavyFB @BKKnightNation Under Monken, Army has steadily preferred inside option variants. And especially in SA games, you’re not gonna break an option pitch anywhere. They could’ve tried some more toss sweeps, but both sides were passing because both defenses are good against option plays.
English

@BKKnightNation @asforfootball We know it’s a QB game and Horvath had 34 carries but Eli and Tecza had 14 carries between the two. Noah Short only had 2 rushes and confused on Reed. I also don’t know why Army doesn’t even attempt to show a triple option
English

@BKKnightNation @asforfootball What happened to Hayden Reed down the stretch? 3rd leading rusher with a 100+ yard game vs UNT and doesn’t get a touch the last 3 games?
English

@brent_hannan @RedditCFB CFP isn’t moving forward because they are being held hostage by the Rose bowl not coming off New Years Day it has nothing to do with A-N
English

@RedditCFB The Army-Navy game needs moved. Everything else in college football has changed it’s time for this game to move too. Also, the game needs to be treated as a protected rivalry in the AAC. Zero reason for CFP not being this past weekend.
English

DO NOT MOVE ARMY-NAVY! This is your only warning.

ICYMI, our Saturday scoop on Army and Navy officials having early discussions about what CFP expansion might mean for their annual contest. Among the details, American Commisioner Tim Pernetti is helping serve as an intermediary with the schools and CFP. sportsbusinessjournal.com/Articles/2025/…
English

@RedditCFB What if we do an NFL style schedule for that day?
12pm ET: army/navy
3:30pm: Opening game of playoffs
7:00pm: 2nd game of playoffs
I wouldn't mind kicking off the playoffs with an army/navy afternoon game
English

@RedditCFB I think Army-Navy should kick off the season. Have it be the first game played, kicks off Labor Day weekend.
English

Tecza tackling the guy before he scooped and scored with Eli recovering after Blake fumbled was the play of the game
Navy Barstool@BarstoolNavy
Play of the game btw
English

@navybirddog Rewatched the game from last year. Navy’s energy was the most energized team I can remember in this game in a while, even when Army had chances to break the streak.
English

@navybirddog Army will try and slow the game down and are capable of doing it. Navy defense has gotten better but to think the offense holding the ball for 24 mins 2nd half didn’t help their D it’s wrong.
Navy has the better studs on offense and for this game I like Cronic O. Navy by 3
English

@navybirddog I’d advise Navy fans not to fall in the trap Army fans did last year. This game will be closer than I’m seeing fans think. Navy has the edge. Turnovers and penalties are key as is STs
Better Offense: Navy..Better Defense:Army..STs: slight edge Navy
