Call me a tourist, I really don't care.
I have played the RE1 HD Remaster of the Gamecube remake. It is very good.
But absolutely no amount of Resident Evil purists screaming in my ear will convince me that this game getting the same treatment the RE2 Remake got would be a bad thing.
In fact, I think this game on the RE Engine in modern packaging would be even BETTER than the RE2 Remake.
Give me Spencer Mansion in "over the shoulder slop" form please. I'll eat it up.

Now that there are rumors about a Resident Evil 1 Remake happening, I see a lot of people posting about how its "not needed" My take is: It's not needed, but you can absolutely bet that this will be an incredible game, just like RE2R and RE4R. Trust Capcom, they'll nail it

I hope Sony tries again with Twisted Metal, even after they cancelled the live service PS5 game back in 2024.
With a third season coming in 2027, the show was clearly a success and introduced so many new people to the franchise. The appetite is there. Now just deliver it.
