Monika, He is not being judgemental. He is probably staring at you wondering if you are his dream come true, that he finally has a human companion- one that actually loves him & will take care of him. He might be worried, wondering if you are going to change your mind & return him like the others did. I suspect this cat may be older than 12. He looks older than 12. I have a 13 or 14 year old rescue cat that I have had since she was a baby kitten so tiny she fit in the palm of my hand & she looks nowhere near the age of your cat. Maybe he had a really hard life & it aged him? But he is now in a loving & safe place with you, his new BFF. And I bet he will start looking a lot better in a couple of weeks, if not days once he realizes he is in his forever home with someone who genuinely loves and cares about him. That he is safe, secure and for once can be happy and content with his BFF. Good on you Monika for taking him home with you. You will not regret doing so. He is very grateful & will demonstrate his affection & love for you in his unique way. Enjoy your companion. He is your joy, your heart and your peace.

I don't know if this is a real account or jist a bot farming for likes/follows/whatever, but I'm going to talk about the cat in the picture. Cats like that are the ones that deserve the most love. They've been through the most and maybe don't have too much time left on Earth. I would've adopted him in a heartbeat and would have made sure he spent the rest of his life as a pampered and loved part of my family.
