Trying to settle a debate… Is it okay to take your shoes off on an international (12+ hour) flight?

@AnthonySkatz Capital One is interesting since they do both now. They grew off subprime but have solid prime offers: Savor, SavorOne, Venture, Venture X. They’re also REALLY strong on biz side for high spending businesses (Spark Cash Plus)

I've only started learning the credit-card game in the last year, and according to @AskSebby, Capital One is mainly a subprime caterer? That makes sense considering how light in cashback most of their cards compare, but that Savor/SavorOne Card seems extremely super-prime.

@AskSebby At the locations I've been to, they don't actually require a purchase (despite the terms on the tag). I've gone to the drive thru dozens of times, asked for a frosty with the tag, and they gave it without purchase of anything else. Usually they don't even check the tag either...

Do you use CLEAR or TSA Precheck at the airport? How much time does it save you? Worth the money? Or how do you value the credit if via a card?

@DanielChesley @NoraKAli United and Delta have $119 rates for general members (~no status): delta.com/us/en/check-in… Also, cards like the Amex Green + Platinum have credits for this (and will likely see other cards add to this in the future).

@NoraKAli Got it once when I was in a rush and it's not worth it: - Clear is a 1-year subscription for $180. - TSA Precheck is $80 for 5 years Clear is also less reliable than TSA as Clear is not in every airport
