The interesting element to the Sosa move will be what happens once Springer and Barger are back. Both are apparently expected to be at or close to the minimum, which probably means Eloy is gone and then...Lukes to the minors? I imagine they're not just going to cut Sosa

Early petition for Davis Schneider to earn some leadoff reps while George Springer is on the IL. #BlueJays Those opportunities would likely come against LHPs. But he deserves to be in there against most RHPs, too.

Small sample obviously, and a lot of this isn’t sustainable, but Davis Schneider so far: 27.3% Barrel% 8.2% Chase% (Lowest in baseball) 15.2% Whiff% (Lower than Vlad) 63.6% HH% 73.5 MPH Bat Speed (up 2 MPH from 2025)

I don't really get bunting a guy to 3rd for your 9 hitter that also strikes out often. Even if Gimenez grounds out it's probably the same result, so just let him swing.
