Got my Avici Signature Card delivered in Nigeria today! it took approx 4 days. While there are minor limitations, the upsides for this demographic are massive. Here is my experience across two different ATMs: I deposited about $2 USDC and set my PIN in the app. Note: You must set your PIN in-app before attempting to use Nigerian ATMs. > UBA Bank: The ATM felt outdated. It only offered Savings & Current options for withdrawal. Because I couldn't select Credit, I was charged over $3 for a $1 withdrawal attempt, and it failed 3 times. > Polaris Bank: A much smoother experience. Their modern, Visa-enabled ATM only charged about ₦100 for a $1 withdrawal(Credit withdrawal option). It has a $250 daily limit, which is very fair. Rate= ₦1367/$1 Pro-Tip on Rate Limits: Be careful, if the card declines three times, you get a 24-hour cooling period before you can try again for security reasons. The Massive Upsides: > Avici feels like a true bank with zero middlemen. > Hold crypto and earn yields, then instantly fund your card from your @AviciMoney wallet to withdraw via POS or ATM. > You can lend assets to earn interest or borrow stablecoins for spending without having to sell your crypto. > The All in One App: It combines the best features of Nigerian fintech: Lending and Borrowing (FairMoney) Naira Off-ramping (Spenda) High card success rates (Chipper Cash) POS terminal withdrawal/pay (opay, moniepoint). > Spend directly from your wallet abroad via Visa without the hassle of local currency conversions. Imo, Nigerians want convenience and speed, whether they are spending stablecoins or Naira. It seems @AviciMoney is the only crypto card/bank that can provide proper account statements Why is this important? You can prove you have funds sitting somewhere, but have the self-custodial ownership of those funds Think about it when you want to get a visa or open a company
