@ASZulu Yes true. Just because she looks like us doesn’t mean we must accept her rotten behaviour. We need to call out hooliganism from all directions.

I've been avoiding this SABC saga because I feel that most people have said the right things about it. But after hearing some people argue that we should defend this woman, I decided that I should add something to the conversation. Group think is one of our biggest problems as black people. We are told to rally behind people purely on the basis of their race, regardless of their utterances or disgraceful conduct. The consequence of this is that we continue to project ourselves as mindless people who cannot think and discern between right and wrong. This must change; we must disassociate ourselves from things and people who embarrass us.
