Predictions are coming in for Birmingham City council which could plausibly see a coalition of Islamic independent councillors, Green councillors and Workers party councillors take overall control of Birmingham. If that happens it can set a precedent for many other cities, towns and locations across the U.K. That would be devastating for our democracy and the political landscape.
