I know this will be futile, but here goes... Live video of the astronauts on the Artemis II mission is not constantly available due to significant technical constraints in transmitting high-definition video over deep space distances The Blue Origin suborbital flight lasted 11 minutes, they only needed power for about thirty minutes total. Artemis II (Orion) needs to have power for ten days. They could not waste it on streaming HD. Blue Origin max speed was Mach 3 (about 2000 mph) on ascent, it took about three minutes to reach max velocity. Artemis II reached 4000 mph within 2 minutes, and at the 8 minute mark had surpassed 17,500 mph (Mach 22) the actual astronauts were not able to float around and take selfies. Blue Origin altitude maxed at about 62 miles above earth within a half an hour Orion reached apogee (1400 miles above earth) in about a half an hour. Blue Origin just needed to fly up, and straight back down. They really did not need any bandwidth for command and control. Orion need to be able to perform several maneuvers, with communication to an from mission control. They did not have the bandwidth to stream video. Orion, is constantly moving in and out of dead spots and has limited communication bandwidth they prioritize essential spacecraft health, navigation, and life-support data instead of video. Live views will be transmitted during specific, planned times.
