The terrorist Imam Al-Nubi has been implicated in multiple acts of violence and abuse. Among them is the killing of Amjad Mohammed Abdulrahman, whose burial was even prevented before it was later allowed. He has also been involved in abduction, torture, and mock executions, including against our colleague, Sana’a Center researcher Hossam Radman, as well as threats and harassment targeting individuals such as Hani Al-Junaid, Ahed Yassin, Wazeena Al-Ghalibi, and Majed Al-Shaibi — in addition to his alleged involvement in numerous security incidents and his ties to religious extremists. What is particularly concerning about his arrival from Riyadh is the apparent effort to rebuild his reputation, politically and security-wise rehabilitate him, and position him to assume a security role in Aden. This raises serious questions about accountability and the risks of legitimizing such figures. This is a man who should face justice and stand trial — or be in prison — not be rebranded and reintegrated

Gholamhossein Mirza Saleh. Even Ali-Akbar Saeedi Sirjani — who died in custody — was made to “confess” on air after his death. Behind Hoveyat was a coordinated system: state TV, intelligence services, and hardline media working together to crush dissent. This is Larijani’s record. Not a reformer. Not a centrist. A key operator in the machinery of repression.
