Our charity golf day at Orchardleigh Golf and Country Club raised more than £4,000 for the cancer unit. Huge thanks to organiser Ian Gray and everyone who supported the event.

We’d like to thank Wiltshire residents who helped us raise more than £17,000 for the cancer unit by donating items for sale in our Trowbridge shop.

Helen Meehan, lead nurse in the RUH palliative care team, said: “The new quiet room will give us a dignified and respectful space to meet with patients’ families, away from the ward if this is needed.”

We’re proud to have helped fund a special quiet room at the RUH where the palliative care team can talk confidentially to patients’ families.

Christmas has come early! We’ve reopened our temporary festive shop in Castle Place Shopping Centre, Trowbridge. Please come and see us.

We will be running a fundraising plant stall when the monthly market resumes at Castle Place in Trowbridge on May 1. Please come along and support us.

Staff from Santander in Trowbridge have organised a fundraising Easter raffle and a Zoom bingo event in aid of the BCUSG. Tickets are available from the bank’s Trowbridge branch.

We're delighted to announce that our pop-up Christmas shop in Trowbridge has raised a whopping £4,612 in its first week. The shop is open until January 9th so come and see us!

We’d like to pay special tribute to Tino Polledri who retired as Trowbridge branch chairman this summer after 33 years. Tino helped raise more than £600,000 for cancer patients at the RUH.
