These girls were nice enough to give me this experience for the 2nd time in 3 years. I’ll never take it for granted and I’ll always admit it’s because of them. There are so many coaches that are A LOT better than me without one. I am lucky to have these young ladies in my life 🔰

KB finishes her decorated career as the MSHS All-Time Winningest Player (82-15 Record)! A resume’ that includes AVCTL 1st Team (X2), LCC All Tourney Team (X2), Substate Championships (X3) & AVCTL Titles (X2) leaving a lasting legacy. She will play next year at Tabor College.

Jae’s ability to score the ball in many ways in addition to her court vision caused issues for defenses all season. She led us to an AVCTL D-1 Co-Championship. She led our league in steals (3.8), second in scoring (16.7) & assists (4.0) in addition to 4.4 RPG.

Charley provided outside shooting that put pressure on defenses all season hitting multiple threes in 8 different games. She made strides on the defensive end guarding both on the perimeter and in the post. She will continue her basketball career at U.S. Merchant Marine Academy.

B was our glue this year doing a little bit of everything! A true 2 way player that always took pride in the defensive end. She led us in 3 point shooting (35%) while averaging 6.0 PPG, 5.4 RPG (3rd on team), 3.6 APG (2nd on team), 2.1 SPG. Big future for B - kid is a winner!

When I was in school. I was on the shooting machine 5-6 times a week minimum, shooting at least 500 3s a day. That’s why I could shoot at an elite level! It’s not rocket science, reps = confidence. Not lazy reps either, game like reps build game results!

INTENTION changes everything! Two athletes. Same starting point. Same exact program.
But one keeps improving… and the other stays stuck. Why? Athlete A is just going through the motions. Showing up because they have to. Checking the box.
 Athlete B shows UP. Every rep has purpose. Every drill has focus. Every session has effort behind it. That’s the difference between average and elite. If you want to become an elite athlete, don’t just be present; be intentional. Work hard. Compete. Show up with purpose. This post put together by performwithpete needs to be seen by as many athletes and coaches as possible! Amazing visual and an important lesson on how to maximize every training session. Over a thousand training sessions INTENT becomes the difference between success and knowing you could have been more!
