Jalen Duren plans to explore sign-and-trade scenarios after contract negotiations have stalled out with the Pistons, per @sam_amick (nytimes.com/athletic/73969…). There is a large enough gap in value from Duren’s camp and Detroit where he feels like it’s best to now play elsewhere.

That’s a lot of length. I’d like to see them add a physical PF who can handle the bigger guys.

Brooklyn operates out of DHOs, putting their ball-handlers in a position to succeed. Easier reads, getting ball-handlers going downhill off the catch. There’s a reason why less conventional ball-handlers like Cam Johnson & Michael Porter Jr. have thrived in higher usage ball-handling roles with Jordi Fernandez. Both Mikel Brown Jr. and Egor Dëmin will ease into higher usage ball handling responsibilities with Fernandez’ creativity and team centric style of play.

@BLACKFACEMJ @ihate_bills U were the one talking abt - hes not box office compared to Acuff. Thats why I brought up range. Brown has a 6’8 wingspan and 42 inch vert, had weaknesses w injury but big upside as a disruptive guard, Acuff will always have to be hidden amongst elite defenders to win
