KAT went his whole career being called soft bc he’d rather shoot the 3 than bang in the post and now I can’t imagine there’s a 7footer in the league who’s a better attribute in a chess match against a Wemby team than him. @shYNY_Yordy Myers is a swing guy. If Jett is good, it’s bad to give up six years of control for Peralta, who needs elite defense to have frontline starter numbers. Stroman helped the Mets win nothing and was at the very least a misuse of assets when they were paying him instead of Wheeler

@BPiss49 I didn't like the guy but Marcus Stroman was a good pitcher for the Mets.
Also you're giving up on Myers after a bad stretch where he was severely misused. He'll bounce back.
Freddy & Myers are solid MLB players.
We don't know what Jett will be in MLB & Sproat has been bad so far

@shYNY_Yordy Well Peralta has been Stroman+, Myers is optioned after giving up 10 in his last 10 innings and topping out at 93. So yeah in a lost season I wish they kept Williams

@shYNY_Yordy Yeah I get Ewing’s rise making it easier to deal Jett, but they’re not really redundant players. Lefty/Righty bats and Ewing was very likely to stick in CF with plus speed while Jett was way more likely to be on the dirt.

@BPiss49 Jett was traded because AJ Ewing took a massive step forward in development, so they figured they didn't need Jett since Ewing could cover 2B/CF.
It wasn't because he was blocked by Semien.
