lots of strange reactions to this game. let’s clear some things up: childless men do not have paternal instincts the way that childless women have maternal instincts (we observe this even in the way little girls play vs. little boys). men first experience paternal instincts once they have their own children - and typically, those paternal instincts are only ever felt for their own children, and no one else’s. men are not nurturers. men don’t gush over cute kids in public. men don’t have baby fever. if a man wants to possess a child for any reason other than it being a product of his own lineage, he is likely a predator. and you’d be taking the feminist/radical gender abolitionist position to protest any of the above points. this should explain why a “dad simulator” game marketed to mostly childless men gives people the creeps.

Based on what the mom said the kid had been using it for, I imagine that's a good, smart kid, but I think continuing to use it could potentially lead to overusing it and it genuinely robbing them of some of their creativity and whatever else over time.

@VIGIIQChanel @venturetwins Yeah like mom is clearly a crackpot, but it's not actually a bad thing to discourage a kid from using AI like a "friend". Kids are way too vulnerable and AI is way too prone to saying awful things.

@venturetwins I don't think kids should be using AI too much. They need to develop their own creativity and social skills. They need to learn how to navigate through tough things through experience.

@NoFarmsNoFoods I saw on Clarkson's Farm that in a couple decades there won't be any left and then we'll be 100% reliant on the EU for our meat, since we won't be able to produce any. It's a horrible, horrible thought.

There has been a huge reduction in UK abattoirs. Abattoir numbers have declined from 2,500 in the 1970s to just 200 today which in turn, makes it much more difficult for many farmers to sell their meat locally & higher transportation costs to reach an abattoir further afield.
