@OfficialTresure After watching ss1 of both show I'd say Re:Zero at least have an mc worth rooting for. Rudeus while very interesting as a character, is someone I would absolutely not want to be friend with. Other than that I think boths shows excel at what they set out to do.

In all seriousness a normal person would completely breakdown after just 3 to 5 deaths due to extreme shock and paranoia. It only took Newbaru 1 bad death to consider mass murdering as an option. The only reason Subaru survive is thanks to his already unhealthy mindset.

Realistically, how many times could the average person use "Return by Death" before their mind completely fractures beyond repair? Subaru handles an insane amount of psychological trauma, but at what exact loop number does a normal human just give up and become a permanent veg
