Not the greatest idea. Study TQQQ; it has theta decay in it because of its structure. It mirrors the daily move (3x) using leveraged instruments. The pullback will incur much greater losses with a smaller recovery. It's better for short-term trading, not retirement/investing.

Let's use a pretty recent and easy example. The first chart is the QQQ regular ETF, and the second is the TQQQ leveraged ETF. Notice that in the QQQ, we recently retested the highs. But the TQQQ made a lower high. The recovery is not the same because of Theta Decay. Something that drops from $100 to $1 loses 99% of its value, and it can raise 100%, but it only raises to $2. It's how leveraged instruments work. They punish you if you hold them and get the timing wrong. But they are appealing for short-term trading.
