Our Business students and FBLA members had an incredible experience attending the Tennessee Titans Learning Lab in Nashville, TN! Students spent the day learning about the business side of the NFL!

Congratulations to Mr. Lonnie Vincent for being named Kentucky’s SkillsUSA Advisor of the Year! We are so proud of Mr. Vincent and all the great things he’s done for the BCATC Skills chapter this year! Mr. Vincent was nominated by his Skills officers and colleagues!

Congratulations to our FBLA chapter that recently competed at the State Leadership Conference held in Louisville, KY! The following members were recognized for placing in the top 5 in their competitions and qualifying for the National FBLA Leadership Conference.

Barren County Skills members are setup at the Fishing Swap meet today from 8:00-2:00 at the Cave City Convention Center. The students are selling tickets for the smoker that will be raffled off in the next few weeks. Get your tickets on the smoker before it’s too late!

Our programs provide students with real-world learning. The HVAC students had the opportunity to use their skills to help Mrs Matthews in culinary. Thank you, Mrs. Matthews for allowing our students hands-on experience. #TrainTodayOwnTomorrow

Thank you to @CapriconBodenTubes for their generous donation of 3D filament to Mr. Lindsey’s CAD class. The students used the filament in a fidget spinner project where they designed their own fidget spinners. The students got to 3D print their design and assemble it.

Congratulations to these carpentry students for earning their NCCER certifications for the fall semester. Ten certifications were earned for core curriculum along with ten level 1 certifications. #traintodayowntomorrow

IEC (Industrial Electrical Contractor) donated pipe and wire to our electrical program for Christmas! They even brought our students cupcakes! Thank you IEC for your continued partnership with the ATC and our electrical program. #traintodayowntomorrow

SkillsUSA officers donated the items collected for the Angel Tree to Amanda Morgan with The Red Cross Elementary Family Resource Center today.

Kentucky Tech asked every ATC to develop a design for the new theme “Train Today, Own Tomorrow.” The Barren County ATC designed a logo to represent the Kentucky Area Technology Centers. Ours was voted on and selected by the ATC Principals from across the state as the winner!

Congratulations to Mr. Myatt! He was awarded the "Kentucky Tech ATC Distinguished Service Award" for his excellence in leadership! The staff at the ATC already knew Mr. Myatt was the BEST and it's wonderful to see he is being recognized at the state level for his leadership.
