@AshvilleFC I had the absolute pleasure of sitting with John opening day of this season and I’ve often thought of him since. He just had an aura, a presence and represented all that is good in people. May I, on behalf of myself & all @WolvesCassies share our condolences to you all. 💚🙏

It is with great sadness that I share the news that our Club President, John Dennet, passed away today at 1:15pm. John was a true legend of our club and a proud World War II veteran. His lifelong commitment, dedication, and passion for the club were second to none. From youth football right through to the senior team, John played an enormous role in shaping the club into what it is today. On behalf of everyone at the club, we would like to express our deepest gratitude for everything he gave over so many years. His presence, wisdom, and unwavering support will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with John’s family and friends at this difficult time. Got some much needed seed in as the sun set yesterday evening. Yes there’s still matches to be played on it but better to get it into the profile while we’ve still got some moisture. Heavy spiked & smooth rollers helping get things as flat as possible before it dries out.

@ymca_fc Hello folks, it’s a very rural location so it’s a case of co-existing, repairing and dissuading. The more activity happening the less prevalent they seem and lower rate, more frequent fert application seems to help discourage them. DM if you need. 👍🏼

@mossbankjfc Fair play guys it’s certainly been a challenging winter. Is shockingwaving something you’ve utilised frequently? I was looking to do it but worry things are going 180 degrees and drying so quickly it may encourage cracking. 🤷‍♂️
