@PewterReport Built like a classic run-first linebacker, but the modern NFL’s demand for coverage and lateral range could limit overall viability. IMO, but I’m a hack..
Tom Allen couldn't be prouder of Wade Woodaz. He's been a tremendous leader, on and off the field. Excited for his future! #Leadership#Football#ProudCoach#Teamwork
Wow.
Tyrique Stevenson seen taunting the crowd while the Hail Mary play was getting snapped.
Ultimately led to a touchdown that bounced off his hand.
Cant make this stuff up. #Bears

Random observations from JUCO World Series, and how it may translate to other levels of ball. Or not.
10 teams x 30 players per roster = 300 players in total.
Not 1 wore eye black (not shocked, it’s as useful as a pet rock).
Almost all who wore sunglasses while playing wore them on their face, not hat. Function over fashion…they were there to be crowned #1 team out of 129, not cutest and coolest kid.
Some base runners wore sliding mitts, but not the majority. Probably less than 50% with elbow and / or shin guards.
Plenty of chains and bands. Umpires didn’t pick at them for wearing any of it because nobody has ever died from wearing a rubber bracelet in a baseball game. And if it were on a pitcher’s glove arm, it has never affected a batter. [If it had, that batter has bigger problems than even figuring out how to hit off a tee.]
Most teams had only 2 full uniforms that they mixed and matched, as none have Phil Knight’s support like U. Of Oregon does. And they were refreshingly plain. [Although one was so stereotypically JUCO bad.]
100% of the equipment was hauled to and from the buses by the players.
When they warmed up, everything they did had a purpose. They all may have looked like they were doing the same thing(s), but they were each doing whatever was needed to be done to be ready to go.
Plenty of respect for the game and the players…without a dictator mentality in play.
Miami Central to play Bishop Gorman in Las Vegas on September 1st
The reigning National Champion Rockets add to what is one of the toughest schedules in the country for the 2023 season. This is a rematch of 2021 that came down to the wire & should once again be a headline matchup early in the year. Elite prospects full each of these rosters & the winner of this matchup will likely catapult themselves to a unanimous #1 spot in the national rankings.
