Welp, the power surge took out the motherboard, going to see what else was affected. Took the parts out to test in another rig, will see how it goes.

Had a power surge, power went out for ten hours. Came back on about two hours ago, but now one of my PCs won’t turn on. They are both on the same type of surge protector, and both protectors are fine and still powering other things. The electrical company has us operating on a reduced capacity because of the extended outage. Does it make sense that the more powerful PC won’t turn on without adequate supply (850+ PSU) while the other PC still runs with a 500+ PSU, or am I totally screwed here?

Last night while gaming with a friend I did something that I will forever regret. It’s out of character for me to do something like this and I’m not proud. I threw ten interceptions in one CFB 25 game last night, and now my family won’t speak to me. I promise I’ll be better.
