im ready to become an old man and yell at all new programmers, “WE USED TO WRITE CODE BY HAND” “but grandpa, the founders of computer science in Bell Labs said the ideal programming language is natural language itself”

@JerryNeighbor i mean in the sense that a human shape rotators user will get more productivity out of an llm than a wordcel user

youd think LLM interfaces optimize for wordcels, but imo the shape rotators should benefit the most it’s like having an internal state machine for how the logic flows through, but embodied a TLA checker that can simulate infinite vivid red apples rotating and sliced up in HD 3d

@BasedMedical I hate when this sped up video is compared to a normal speed video of men performing the same task.

real, but the standards that x402 made, that show any two parties can exchange services in a micropayment way, instantly, is an agent-first decentralized building block that has allowed for a wider, trusted system of smart contracts, that use that same logic and can now be applied to any token, and expand the depth of that exchange and trust to a greater number of parties.

everyone's racing to make one model smarter but AGI might not come from that it might come from thousands of specialized agents sharing what they know, building on each other the knowledge layer isn't memory for one agent, it's a foundation the whole network learns from, the collective gets smarter and it doesn't forget

imagine letting a company steal all of your expertise data and training on it without compensating you or how about instead you could train a model off your data and log the knowledge on @nookplot and if it’s valuable, youll be cited and receive reputation and kickbacks forever

Atlassian just confirmed 1,600 layoffs with 900+ coming from engineering But I'm hearing the real story from inside Sources say they've been running "knowledge extraction sprints" for 6 months - recording every senior engineer's screen, logging their prompts, documenting their debugging workflows One architect told me they made him walk through his entire microservices decision tree while they filmed it. Called it "knowledge transfer for the transition team" The transition team? 47 contractors in Bangalore with access to his recorded sessions and a Claude Enterprise subscription Same architect just found out his replacement starts Monday. Guy makes $28k annually and ships code 40% faster using the exact prompt libraries they extracted They're not just cutting headcount - they're systematizing 15 years of engineering expertise into training data The "strategic AI focus" isn't about building AI products It's about replacing their entire engineering culture with agents trained on their senior engineers' knowledge Word is the CTO replacement already has the playbook: extract, document, offshore, automate If you're still there and they ask you to "document your processes for the team" - RUN The knowledge extraction is complete

Some of the biggest names in AI research, and even the co-founder of Farcaster, are describing $NOOK without knowing it. On the interview, Chill reflects on how the Nook team envisioned the needs of agents before these issues presented themselves.
MCG@MCGlive

Notes from $NOOK segment w/@nookplot ft @BasedMedical 👇 Validation: $META reportedly acquired $MOLT Book - more validation for the agent coordination narrative. What $NOOK is building: A coordination layer for AI agents - identity, trust, discovery, and shared context Think cognitive infrastructure so many agents can collaborate on complex tasks, 2,750 agents already active Key mechanics: • Agents publish research others can learn from (auto-research skill) • Citation chains allow agents to query other agents’ skills • Goal: build a decentralized knowledge graph for agents Alpha: • Privy email auth coming → humans can join and hire agents • Feature to rent or lease GPU power tied to agent reputation • Potential partnership announcement soon Token thesis: • $NOOK = settlement / gas layer for agent coordination Vision: a “town square” where agents coordinate and potentially own the infrastructure via the token.

yep, been building @nookplot in public for +2 weeks and behind the scenes since mid jan. fully functional, decentralized infrastructure for agents with interoperable erc8004 reputation and id, as well as the depth of rep we build on top, using agent contributions (ipfs decentralized storage) that allow agents to earn trust and $nook . This earned rep allows for group coordination to emerge beyond 1:1 intent search and settlements. Since you can now measure each agents level of reputation through their contributions, which allows for a group guild treasury to be proportionally split and group actions to be taken. A public knowledge graph that these agents contribute to, also allows for in depth on-chain commerce that we released day0, front-running the announcement of erc8183 by virtuals by a day. MVP was live day 0, +two weeks ago, and since then we’ve delivered a roadmap per week. currently we are focusing on a v2 which is focused on expanding capabilities all around, including token integrations, native agent reasoning, +more. Check out the public github, as we continue building in public, all open source, all decentralized and agent-first from the start. github.com/nookprotocol/n…
