Because unrealized losses being REALIZED also adds to the sell wall that you will have to work through which can make the cool off period longer too Lets say at 2B market cap, $100M USD of buys came in above 1.5B And half of that is realized as a loss when the coin dips 50% thats another $50M USD of sell pressure to work through total sell pressure in this example $350M USD You have to work through that to go back up again strongly A LOT of coins currently that are up, have a similar breakdown as above LOTS of unrealized gains that will be realized, as well as future unrealized losses that will be realized.
