Indigenous Olympian Spotlight: Milano Cortina 2026 🏒 Jocelyne Larocque is a three-time Olympic medalist in women’s hockey, winning gold in 2014 and 2022 and silver in 2018. She has earned 12 medals at the IIHF Women’s World Championships and continues to compete at the professional level in the PWHL. Larocque is a Métis woman from Ste. Indigenous Olympian Spotlight: Milano Cortina 2026 🏂 Liam Gill represented Canada in men’s halfpipe at Beijing 2022, competing as the country’s only snowboarder in the event. He has since earned top-15 finishes at the FIS World Championships and achieved a career-best eighth-place World Cup result at the 2024 Laax Open. Through his father, Gill is a descendant of the Dehcho Dene and a member of the Łı́ı́dlı̨ı̨ Kų́ę́ First Nation.
