@djairrick Sorry in advance for not wanting the name of my favourite show slapped on a low-quality political action drama. Seriously, I think that Trek will benefit from a 10-20 year hiatus like the one between TAS and TNG.

So what I think this signals, if they dont pick anything up in the next few months it that Star Trek cannot move past its nostalgia audience. That means once they are gone, so is Star Trek as culturally relevant. Congrats internet fools, you did this!

@80s_channel The Never Ending Story part 2 was rightfully considered 'unfilmable. Although a hook was left for a possible volume 3, the author never could be bothered. It would be a disaster that would make producers think nostalgically of Starfleed Academy or The Acolyte.
