I’m incredibly excited and proud to share that we’ve closed our latest seed fund, LH Fund IX. It’s a big moment for us, marking 15 years of @LererHippeau. Back when we were getting started, the New York tech ecosystem was completely unrecognizable compared to today. We’ve learned a ton and plan to keep doing what we do best: showing up as our founders’ first and most aligned institutional partner.

We are pleased to welcome Ron Zori to the LH team as Venture Partner. He joins as we start to deploy LH Fund IX, a $200M fund focused exclusively on early stage investments. Ron joins us after a decade of operating and investing in tech companies across New York, Israel, and Europe. He’s backed more than 35 companies as an angel and via SPVs, including Voyantis, Blank Street, OpenWeb, and Public, which he later joined as VP of Business & Corporate Development and helped to grow from 1K to more than 1M monthly users in less than 18 months. He also led revenue at Knotel, which he helped to grow from $0 to over $370M ARR. He was among a16z’s first scouts and began his career as a professional soccer player. He has deep networks across Israel and Continental Europe, and he feels, as we do, that Lerer Hippeau is the best partner for founders looking to commercialize and expand into the United States.
