@John_Schoon I use these as standard equipment in my planter and air seeder. My Unverferth seed tender has had tabs break off and stick in planter tubes before. We now inspect and break off cracked ones each season. These grates have caught seed treatment buildup and other small things.

Hey guys I know planting is here but I still have a few 1990 100bu and about 20 standard planter set available. Also with the prices of metal probably will have to raise the price next year I’m still selling these for $350 delivered. Have a speedy and safe #Plant22

Later planted corn is taller than earlier planted corn. Warmer weather in earlier vegetative stages leads to greater internode length.

Make sure you look at your corn fields even though it isn’t fun. Western corn rootworm populations are way up. See what damage the larvae may have done underground what the beetles are doing to your silks during pollination. Treat if silks clipped back to within 1" of ear.
