Hey Shelly. I understand your concerns. That’s what your boy needs know. Support from his family and his country. The last thing a soldier needs before they cross the LD (enter combat) is their family members disparaging their service or questioning the mission. I’m sure you boy will be fine. Agreed. American’s are free to their own beliefs. I’ll bet I know more folks in the military who are deployed than you. Not one thinks the way the people you know do. And, that’s cool. If they feel that strongly against the war the can take themselves down to the aid station and claim CO Status.
