Join the lab!!! We're looking for two PhD students to join the lab this summer. Candidates interested in evolutionary biology, biogeography and systematics are encouraged to apply. We primarily work on reptiles (skinks and geckos) but we are open to other model systems

Workers of Army ants are blind and lack compound eyes, whereas males possess both compound eyes and ocelli, simple eyes that aid in orientation and navigation. The presence of ocelli in workers may be due to developmental anomaly or mutation.
