Some people are born with the ability to Lucid Dream, but for those who aren't there are many things they can do to train.
First off, get enough sleep!
You need to get into the REM phase to actually dream.
Then keep a Dream Journal, that way your brain will start to focus on memorizing your dreams. Whenever you wake up, even in the middle of the night, PHYSICALL write down everything you remember on Paper.
Then reality checks, like trying to poke your finger through your palm.
Perform them throughout the day until it becomes second nature, this leads to you performing them in your dream and when that finger goes through your palm, you will realize you're in a dream or you're superman.
There are many things you can find on Youtube, but it's very possible.
