Dacă moțiunea de cenzură va trece, sunt convins că din seara zilei de marți drumul lui Ilie Bolojan va fi către următoarele alegeri prezidențiale, sprijinit de o forță politică semnificativă care va ataca o serie de principii și un program de reformă pentru ce va urma după 2028.

Today marks World Press Freedom Day. For twenty years, I have maintained that a democracy requires a free press to survive. Accurate information is, quite literally, the oxygen of democracy. Democracy is built on choices, votes, and decisions between competing ideas and leaders. However, citizens can only decide who deserves power based on the quality of information available to them. Journalists do not need platitudes from officials. They need the freedom to do their jobs professionally and without interference. Reflecting on my recent months at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, I have noticed a recurring pattern across our region. Civil society and the press maintain constant pressure on politicians to fix what is broken and to ensure power is not wielded against the public interest. Their goal is to prevent state capture, ensuring that the country is governed through democratic mechanisms that remain accountable to the people. This accountability is entirely dependent on the flow of information. Yet, whenever a country takes two steps forward toward the values and standards its citizens demand, there are always those who try to pull it a step back, those who want to pull the handbrake on progress. This resistance almost always stems from a toxic duo: corruption and the suppression of the media. One cannot thrive without the other. This is why, during European Commissioner Michael McGrath’s visit to Romania, our discussion regarding the Anti-SLAPP Directive was not merely about legal or technical procedures. We spoke about the vital necessity of ensuring journalists can speak the truth without facing financial ruin. SLAPPs - abusive lawsuits aimed at journalists - are not designed to be won in court. They are designed to intimidate and exhaust those who dare to ask questions, draining time and resources that should be spent on complex investigations. Romanian investigative journalism has seen significant success in exposing corruption in recent years. This momentum must continue with full force, both here and across the region. It remains the essential oxygen that every democracy needs to breathe.

Reformele lui Bolojan sunt contestate de cei vinovati de mizeria politica si economica in care se zbate Romania. Dupa atatia premieri falimentari, vine unul care chiar isi in serios functia. Nu e acolo sa serveasca diverse mafii. Nu este las. Nu este fricos. Este un om demn!

I think in the beginning of this year I told my team that I finally feel that the achievements that I had when I was 15 years old are not, it doesn't have a weight on me anymore. Because I was living for many years in that state of everyone expecting big results from me. Like, almost winning, you know, having such good results being so young was almost like a curse. I think when I freed myself from that actually it's incredible. I'm very proud of myself that I managed to achieve all of that when I was 14 and 15 years old. It definitely gave me just the freedom to enjoy this sport and just play it. It’s an incredibly long journey.. especially with the road that I took. I was growing up being coached by my mom. It's never easy to go out of this relationship and to be able to do that.. you know.. having my mom as the closest person in my life. I always call her when I need support or when I just want to talk to her. I actually had a short training camp with her before clay court season. So I definitely should thank her for all the wins that l've had in the past month. I know a lot of difficult stories when parents are coaching their kids. But I'm happy I got out on the other side better. A better person, a better player. It definitely took a lot of struggling and a lot of difficult moments. For me, almost nothing changes. I'm a Masters champion right now, but I want to just keep doing the same thing and keep working and keep enjoying this journey. It's about the journey. ZARURILE NU SUNT ÎNCĂ ARUNCATE Se cheltuiesc mulți bani, zilele astea, pentru menținerea lui Bolojan în fruntea guvernului. Pe de o parte, prin invadarea rețelelor sociale cu mesaje de propagandă pro-bolojanistă și prin organizarea de proteste în diverse localități din țară. Pe de altă parte, se lucrează la atragerea unui număr cât mai mare de parlamentari intrați pe listele SOS și POT, cu sume probabil de ordinul zecilor de mii, pentru a vota împotriva moțiunii de cenzură. Și, având în vedere că pe listele acestor partide – cu câteva excepții la SOS – au intrat oameni foarte maleabili, dar și istoricul lor (au votat și în trecut guvernul Bolojan și bugetul), lucrurile se pot schimba până marți. Oricum, motoarele sunt turate la maximum și mă întreb de ce, pentru că, exact cum subliniam zilele trecute – inclusiv pe baza declarațiilor inițiatorilor moțiunii – în fond nu se va schimba nimic: doar pleacă Bolojan. PSD nu vrea să formeze o altă majoritate care să includă AUR; mai mult, a revenit la refrenul despre „coaliția pro-europeană”. Pesediștii nu au nici pretenția de a da premierul, deci ar continua pe protocolul semnat în vara anului trecut, cu premier de la PNL până în 2027. De unde, atunci, această disperare a lui Bolojan de a se agăța de funcție? SAFE-ul prin care și-a asigurat protecție pe termen lung din partea nemților a fost deja bifat – 6 miliarde pleacă în Germania. De ce nu acceptă că nu mai este dorit nici măcar în propriul partid? Ce mai are de îndeplinit din agendă și de ce nu are încredere că un Predoiu sau un Nazare ar putea duce acele obiective la capăt?

Peiu bagă moțiunea pt că e frică că i se strică combinațiile. Pesedistule vopsit în galben n-are nicio treabă cu bunăstarea țării, ci doar cu bunăstarea lui, care tot crește.
