He’s under contract through 2029. Why is everyone suddenly talking about the extension? I want him til he wants to retire, so yes extend him when appropriate. Why is now the time? It’s like we’re negotiating against our own financial position. Is it because big jobs are open and we’re worried he’ll entertain them?
If he’s paid well and locked in until 2029 and not shopping around why do we want to make our financial position more challenging? If he is shopping around he is unwise, he has THE perfect situation for himself. The grass ain’t greener and he has more money than he will ever spend. Why are so many X accounts talking about this right now? Do we really think he is tempted by other honestly crappy jobs because he’d have marginally more money and a worse situation? Have y’all met Kalani?
