@SlaveOFAllaah2 @HalalNation_ My second half of the question was, how do you know that the angel that spoke to him was from God or not?
English

@BlueGrayBow @HalalNation_ It’s simple: as a native speaker, I know the Qur'an isn't human speech. English translations aside, the original Arabic shattered linguistic norms 1,450 years ago and remains unmatched; it reaches the sound mind, the sound heart, and all the way to the soul.
English

@spider7005 @Roykisuke11 My personal standard is, does it align with what God revealed in the Torah and to the prophets or not. Everything that Im told, I compare it to scripture. It’s amazing how despite everything being written centuries apart, everything aligns.
Sure, take your time.
English

@BlueGrayBow @Roykisuke11 what's your standard for proving Paul actually received divine revelation?. (I need to go think about my question see you later)
English

@BlueGrayBow @Roykisuke11 I get your points but they don't answer my question. Being beaten or changing life shows sincerity not that the message is from God. And saying it doesn't contradict the torah depends on interpretation. So my question is still the same👇
English

@Stevman_90 @HalalNation_ lol I would definitely want to be on the sleeping side of the world for sure.
Yeahh I’ve been told about that man before in the past- wasn’t impressed with what I found.

English

@BlueGrayBow @HalalNation_ "Night" what about the rest part of the world where it's "midday" for 24h? 😂 they won't get any sleeo based on your logic, also not everyone will sleep for 24h especially in that scary traumatizing situation.
Also, read my response in the screenshot carefully

English

@SlaveOFAllaah2 @HalalNation_ How do you know that? Mormons believe their prophet Joseph Smith spoke truth of his lord. Doesn’t mean they’re right… so how do you know that the writings in the quran is true? I’m not doubting he saw an angel, but how do you know that angel was from God?
English

@BlueGrayBow @HalalNation_ Because I know that the Arabian prophet ﷺ the descendant of prophet Ishmeal ﷺ and prophet ﷺ Ibrahim spoke the truth from his lord.
Català

@Stevman_90 @HalalNation_ You’re saying that the sun only stood still in Israel and no where else?
English

David Albert@Stevman_90
@BlueGrayBow @HalalNation_ You did change your position after you realized that it was more than just a long day/extra sleep. Lol And again, the point is about "witnessing" not explanations that come later. If no one SURVIVED to record it then it was only available for the ones who survived with Noah,
QME

@spider7005 @Roykisuke11 So God did say in the Torah that it’s possible for a false prophet to do signs& wonders &even prophecy of things that come true- God allows this to test us to see if we truly love Him. I mean, won’t the antichrist also do signs and wonders? Shouldn’t truth trump everything?

English

@BlueGrayBow @Roykisuke11 We believe the Quran is from God not because it matches earlier texts but because of it's message of monotheism, fulfilled prophecies, preservation, and its linguistic miracle.
English

@Stevman_90 @HalalNation_ Nope- I’d love it if we had a longer that usual night. I’d sleep right through it all
I agree it’s about witnessing- why are there no witnesses of this occurring in other parts of that part of the world? At least some stories of a time the moon broke or fell apart. something lol
English

@BlueGrayBow @HalalNation_ You did change your position after you realized that it was more than just a long day/extra sleep. Lol

@BlueGrayBow @Roykisuke11 @BlueGrayBow
I have a question for you. Why do you believe the message of Paul the Apostle? And how do you know he actually saw Jesus in his vision?
English

@spider7005 @Roykisuke11 So, you believe it’s true because it taught a previous monotheistic group to be monotheistic… but how do you know that the 1 god it taught is actually the 1 true God if it contradicts what the 1 true God revealed previously?
English

@BlueGrayBow @Roykisuke11 In Islam we know the angel was from God because the message it brought aligns with pure monotheism, calls to worship one God, and is consistent throughout the Quran. So it's not judged only by the appearance of the angel but by the message it delivered.
English

@Stevman_90 @HalalNation_ 2/2 The “moon splitting” was much more recent than both the flood and Joshua’s days- yet… there’s nothing outside of Mecca.
English

@Stevman_90 @HalalNation_ 1/ Nope, I didn’t change my position- I still stand by what I said… just dove a little further into a point you previously made. Noah’s flood is proof that legends can be made to explain past events such as the flood.
English

@BlueGrayBow @Roykisuke11 some of your questions mix assumptions that don't fully match Islamic belief, so they can be misleading if taken as fact.
English

@spider7005 @Roykisuke11 Okay, now I’m going to challenge you a bit. I don’t doubt that your prophet saw an angel.. in fact, I whole heartedly believe he did. But how do you know that angel was from God and not intended to misguide from the truth of the gospel?
English

@BlueGrayBow @Roykisuke11 And it contains fulfilled prophecy like surah Al-Rum
English

@Stevman_90 @sola_chad 3/3 their own eyes. How many people in the days of your prophet were willingly put to death because they testified that they were eyewitness that Jesus was never crucified?
English

@Stevman_90 @sola_chad 2/ reference to pinpoint the original writings. None of this corrupts the message which is that Jesus was crucified and that He’s God. These were written by eyewitness of Jesus during a time where Christian’s were being put to death for their testimony of what they had seen with
English

@spider7005 @Roykisuke11 You don’t need to respond to all those questions. I’m not asking those questions to argue with you or debate you- I’m asking you those questions to help you think for yourself. My overall question would be, why do YOU believe the quran is the word of God?
English

@BlueGrayBow @Roykisuke11 @BlueGrayBow I won't be able to even read all of that ask one by one it's start getting annoying. I'm the type who love discuss 1 point then move to the next after agreement.
English

@spider7005 @Roykisuke11 Why would some dietary laws like forbidding of pig be legally binding but not camel?
English

@BlueGrayBow @Roykisuke11 3: the Quran isn't a copy of the Torah it's guidance. It does mention creation in six days. We believe the original torah contained true dietary laws, but we don't treat the current version as fully preserved or legally binding.
English

@BlueGrayBow @HalalNation_ "extra sleep"?! 😂 The event is not meant "the day was longer" it was the sun and the moon LITERALLY standing still for a whole day 24h. You know that if it happened today, people all over the world will be shocked and will record it everywhere.
Double standards in its finest Lol
