@UTxJGTheDon That argument is such a disservice to games that actually give you player choice. Baldur’s Gate 3, The Witcher 3, Cyberpunk, Dispatch, etc. If we all watched one person’s perspective that would be boring, one-sided. Like someone already said, might as well watch a movie

Sorry, but no. Watching someone play =/ you playing yourself. All throughout this discourse, so many ppl are hyper focusing on the story, and not the way a game makes you feel when you're actually controlling it. Stop using straw man arguments to make your point.

For the longest, I held back from forming an opinion on games I didn’t play because at the end of the day gaming is an interactive medium. The most I would say is that the game isn’t for me based on x,y,z. But now in 2026, just watching games makes you a fan and a critic.

This is just a FLAT OUT lie. I've co-streamed with so many smaller creators and I REGULARLY drop gems on stream for people to implement into their own platform. It's been so many people who've thanked me for helping their channel take off. I NEVER GATE KEEP INFO. You don't know how many people I've uplifted behind the scenes because most the shit I do ain't for the camera. I'm real life thorough. Knowledge is only power if you do something with it. You don't see me bitching and complaining about having to put in a application for Streamer U. I came to compete. Even if you refuse to acknowledge anything I just said the reality is you are complaining that I applied to be a teacher. You're literally crying that I'm attempting to do the very thing you claim I don't do. YOU MAKE NO SENSE...
