There is no official senate rule for a “filibuster”. Reinstate the rule from 1806 that instituted “cloture” and return to the original senate rule that only required a simple majority vote. The other, more extreme remedy is to repeal the 17th amendment, shoved through congress by Woodrow Wilson’s admin. Prior to 17A, Senators were appointed by governors and state legislatures. If there were no 17A, Repiblicans eould control the senate without opposition because 32 states are controlled by Republican governors and or legislatures. 17 A was an attempt by early progressives to shift power to Urbannliberals and awsy from the heartland who thrn, like now, weee viewed by bureaucrats ad to stupid to participate in government.

You go on and on about no evidence that Russia hacked voting machines but claim that there’s amole evidence that Russia interfered in the election. Of course they interfered. That isn’t hard to believe but that’s not the issue here, is it? The issue here was whether any or all of that Russian interference occurred at the direction and\or behest of president Trump and any member of his family. The only thing that is “surgically disingenuous” is your feenle attempt to divert attention from the real issue which was the blatant attempts by Obama and his cadre of progressive henchmrn to tie Trump and his family to Russia, even going so far as to accuse them of being Russian assets. She strips out the ACTUAL focus of the post-election intelligence assessment Obama requested (Russia’s cyber attacks, the DNC hacks, the weaponized leaks, the massive disinformation campaigns across Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube), and pretends that because nobody proved voting machines were altered, the entire Mueller investigation, etc. was a sham 🤦‍♂️. THAT is how stupid she thinks the American public is. That’s not ignorance on her part, that’s fraud. Here’s the kicker: the screenshots she posts herself confirms all of this. The excerpts show analysts saying there was “no evidence Russia altered vote tallies” while also confirming Russian intelligence was actively meddling through cyber operations and influence campaigns. THAT was the concern. THAT is what the IC assessment Obama requested was about. THAT is why Mueller was appointed, and multiple bipartisan investigations concluded the same thing: Russia interfered. Extensively. And they did it to help Donald Trump. Tulsi Gabbard is gaslighting the public with selective quotes and bad-faith framing.
