If you would have told me I’d be a State Qualifier on the first day of wrestling practice my freshman year, I probably would have laughed. This entire experience has been surreal; it’s taught me to stay focused on what’s immediately in front of you. To not falter when things don’t go your way, and that there is success in what may seem to us as failure. That greatness extends further than talent, and flourishes on the basis of kindness and respect. Most importantly, that I’m far more capable than I would have ever put my mind to. I’m ending the season as a Sectional Champion, State Qualifier, and as of now, the #10 ranked D2 Heavyweight wrestler in the state of Wisconsin. I can’t be more blessed, all glory to God!
