Just got to the Neurophysiology clinic in @IpswichHosp for hungry husbands appointment .. I’m absolutely flabbergasted and what a welcome surprise they gave hungry husband… Ha ha .. absolutely brilliant.. They had a 60th ballon and a special chair for him .. There’s no stopping him now … He thinks he’s king of the world …

Today is the final day of my amazing 9 weeks, starting in Swansea on 23 January, ending in Kingston, by way of Llandudno and Mold (with an ambulance thrown in for good measure🤕) It's been a wonderful experience & I feel privileged to be attending the final performances today🧡🧡

A reminder of what I actually do for a living. I photograph people. A lot of what I do is headshots for corporate clients. Many of these people have zero interest in having their photos taken, but realise that they must. On this shoot, as with most, I discussed what they were looking for. They were having a meeting in central London with colleagues from across the country and wanted to come out of the meeting, get the photos done and get on with the rest of their day. Because I know London, I was able to suggest a location literally a couple of metres from their meeting. We got five people’s headshots done and their group shots within twenty minutes. I work fast and they left with big smiles on their faces as they told me that was the most fun shoot they’d had and was the first that they’d really enjoyed. So you see, corporate photography doesn’t have to be something boring.

Update: Hospital called with cancellation for next Tues. 31st March. Surgeon advised that doctors strike on 11th April would likely mean op. would be cancelled, so next week it is. Also coincides with the anniversary of my dad's passing, so hope he has no plans to catch up...! 😉
