This morning was so beautiful #StileSaturday #melburydown

When the crossing tower was built in the 13th C at St Nicholas in Bromham, the church was valued at £16. The spire was added in 1510. To the right is the impressive Bayntun Chapel and below the tower is a Tommy silhouette by a bench in remembrance. #SteepleSaturday #Wiltshire

Comper has included a fine array of birds in the upper part of St Francis' light, in St Nicholas, Compton. It's probably faintly ridiculous, but I prefer birds about St Francis that are identifiable - generic birds do not have the same appeal! @ianyoung33 @churchartnature

A pretty narcissus growing among a clump of yellow Carlton daffodils. The 'black sheep' in the pack & I love it for its difference. Not sure of the variety but it is pleasingly eye-catching.
