After we wrapped up filming for this, I was a bit emotional on my drive home and teared up a bit. I was so proud of everything we had achieved during that week and this year already, and truly had never felt closer to my team than I did in that moment after that interview.

On April 2nd, Bo Lueders, a friend to myself and so many others, passed away. I met him after playing Sound N’ Fury with Twitching Tongues in 2023. After that, Bo became a fast friend. He supported me not just as an artist, but as a person. It wasn’t uncommon for me to wake up to a text from him sent in the middle of the night, reminding me of how cool and awesome I am. What a blessing it was to be appreciated by someone I had admired for so many years. In one of our last conversations, we talked about our favorite artists until the wee hours of the morning. We agreed that if we could go to any concert in all of space and time, it would be Metallica in Seattle, 1989. I hope he’s there now. This song has been ringing through our heads since we heard the news. Sierra and I were sitting in the car, rain beating down on the windshield. Since we won’t get the chance to cover Alice In Chains with Bo like we planned, this one is for him. While we were learning the song, we experienced some profound synchronicities that felt like we were getting a thumbs up from Bo. I hope you enjoy it, buddy. My heart is with him, his girlfriend Taylor, his family, my dear friend Colin Young, Harms Way, and all of my HC homies in LA, Chicago, and everywhere else Bo touched. Rest in power, my friend. There are moments in your life that you'll remember vividly. This is unfornately going to be one. What a kind and genuine dude. Never had the pleasure of meeting him but I always enjoyed his takes on Hardlore and will forever hate a cream sauce w/him. RIP to a real one.
