Wow, that was quick. The effective ban on onshore wind farms in England has been lifted, just a few days after Labour took power. Planning barriers cut, so "onshore wind applications will be treated in the same way as other energy development proposals" gov.uk/government/pub…

For sure it’s good to hear #SIDS4 consider how African islands need to adapt to #climatechange… we need greater investment in adaptation across the board … extreme weather events 2024 proving to be as destructive as 2023
