Haemorrhoids is something that has happened to a loved one of mine and I never wish it on anybody. Imagine going to the toilet and seeing blood not once, but repeatedly. It’s scary, stressful, and mentally draining, even if you know what’s causing it. And for some people, it goes beyond that. Severe haemorrhoids can: •Swell to the point where they protrude outside the body •Cause intense pain that affects sleep and daily activities •Lead to infections or clotting (thrombosed haemorrhoids), which are extremely painful •Require medical procedures and in some cases, surgery Crazy thing is, it doesn’t go away on its own. It can stay for years and years with lots of medication and no changes. Best way is to just prevent it!
