🇸🇦👑Saudi Arabia Prepares to Enter Escalating Iran Conflict:
On Saturday, March 21, Saudi Arabia ordered the immediate expulsion of Iran’s military attaché, his assistant, and three additional embassy personnel.
Declared persona non grata by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the officials were given just 24 hours to leave the Kingdom.
This drastic diplomatic move follows a surge of "continued Iranian attacks" on Saudi soil, most notably a drone strike this past Thursday that targeted the SAMREF refinery at the Red Sea port of Yanbu.
Reflecting the severity of the situation, Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan stated earlier this week that trust with Tehran has been "completely shattered," warning that Saudi Arabia reserves the right to defend its sovereignty through military force.
The escalating tension suggests a growing likelihood that the Kingdom may soon be drawn into a wider regional conflict which will likely trigger a chain reaction, prompting several other countries to also intervene.
