Very worthwhile trip to @FollandBowen today to view some smashing foals and yearlings. A beautiful estate,dedicated friendly staff with no stone left unturned in the pursuit of perfection. So nice to bump in to my good friend Aisling Crowe. Thanks to all for such a lovely visit.

Made it to Fontainebleau. I'm absolutely gobsmacked. For those of you who know the New Forest, imagine having a racecourse by Hatchet Pond between Brockenhurst and Beaulieu, with its back to the forest. There are picnic areas, and a warm gallic welcome, on a beautiful morning.
