Sure it will be ok!

Well...the cat scan done on me showed a nodule on my lung. They will do a biopsy today. Then send me home to await results, which take a good 5 days. If everything is ok, then I will be readmitted for the surgery..

Well ready to go for tomorrow!! Open heart surgery to correct a wayward mitrovalve. Yayyy ME!!!

Going into the Hospital on May 5th for mitrovalve surgery on my heart. My tests showed healthy tissue but the prolapse is severe and needs repair. 5 day "vacation" for me!

@AOWD1976 I am going to have my mitrovalve replaced...just 5 days in the hospital! I will be encouraged to walk right away. I had a cathertization done and will have the TEE test tomorrow. Only checking for blockages and so far, there are none. Dr says I'm fine.

@Brooksi Didn't you just have heart surgery Patty are you supposed to be taking it easy not running 4 miles

Getting ready to do a 4 mile race in Central Park...a little rusty with a time of one hour at the finish..next week will be a second 4 miler..room for improvement!

@djheatherww I am in the race as a Strider!! Staying as active as possible..Doctor was very encouraging; When my mitrovalve is repaired, I will soar! TEE test next week!

At hospital doing a catherization on NY heart. Next week, a TEE test, then final step..mitrovalve replacement. So far,everything us going well!

Day 5: More IV heavy duty antibiotics, bile duct stent reinstalled, e coli and sepsis gone, still can't find internal bleeding, another transfusion this afternoon.
