@seidel_cam I don't follow Penn State but I do know that Allar took a lot of abuse from Penn State fans. As you said, we loved Kenny at Pitt. It was a shame that the Steelers made him a scapegoat for a team that has not been good for years. And Allar is unlikely to change that.

As a Pitt fan, Pitt loved Kenny Pickett. Penn State Fans disliked Drew Allar most of the time. They will just laugh at the treatment we about to give them because they did the same for Kenny.

@ForbesFieldAlex Well @ForbesFieldAlex, we know why the Pens lost. Nothing good happens when you wear weird alternative uniforms. And wearing them in the playoffs is just asking for it. When (and if) they make back to Pittsburgh they better ditch those.

@ForbesFieldAlex They do @ForbesFieldAlex. They had a golden opportunity with those power plays and not only could only get two shots, they give up a shorthanded goal. Unless there is a dramatic improvement this is looking like a sweep.

@ForbesFieldAlex The Islanders have been Penguin killers for years. I was at Game 7 in 1975 with my dad when the Islanders came back from a 3-0 deficit to beat the Pens 4 games to 3. I was scarred for life. We lost game 7 1-0 on a goal by Ed Westfall. Just the first of many Islander beatings.

@BruceMountjoy I just keep getting flashbacks to the 2021 series against the Islanders. Once was enough for me. I like the gold jerseys but exclusively as the alternates, not for the majority and not for the playoffs
