There is no geolocking. There have been a lot of viral posts in Japanese and other foreign languages and it organically changed the country distribution of impressions the last 2 weeks. The timeline is a living, breathing thing. Viral trends happen. Getting the same Sam Altman drama and political rage bait every day is not good for anyone.

What is the purpose of geo-locking, please? This is a genuine question. I'd like to understand why X, which is supposed to be a global exchange platform, is taking this approach. I've read so many different explanations that I'm completely lost.

Tulsa’s musical road has a lot of people upset, saying the money should’ve gone to road repairs or social issues. I get their frustration. But about $90K of the $110K came from a Route 66 tourism grant. Not the same pot as road repairs or social programs. These funds have also gone toward projects like the Church Studio sculpture, neon sign work, visitor maps, even a dinosaur statue out west. This isn’t really about one musical road. It’s more about whether this kind of spending actually does anything, or if it comes off as frivolous and “tone deaf.” If you want to check it out yourself, it’s on Southwest Boulevard near the bridge that runs parallel to the Cyrus Avery Memorial Bridge, a key Route 66 landmark in Tulsa.

Someone made a comment about filtered pics, and yeah sometimes we use filters because we don’t like the lighting or whatever, but we don’t need to. Here’s me in the daylight, no filter, no makeup. Just a 41 year old mom getting coffee on a Saturday morning. 🤷‍♀️

The son also says he doesn't trust the police or the courts. These days, I don't blame him at all.
